Supreme founder James Jebbia has cited Harold Hunter as a major influence on the brand’s early style and attitude. The label has since honored the late skateboarder through various collections inspired by him, including a three-way collaboration in 2014 with Comme des Garçons’ SHIRT. This graphic T-shirt, released in 2006 shortly after Hunter’s passing, features an iconic image of him mid-kickflip outside the original Supreme store, captured by legendary photographer Ari Marcopoulos.
