The Botan flower has cultural significance in Japan, where it is known as the ‘King of the Flowers.’ Taking inspiration from the Botan flower, this Y-3 x BYW Boost JH showcases the Houston Rocket guard’s duality with a performance basketball shoe mixed in with off-court style. The design features a white neoprene upper with a mesh collar, suede vamp, and a Boost midsole. It also comes with a Yohji Yamamoto signature on the vamp, and a Y-3 Botan logo inside the tongue. The shoe dropped in an April 2018 capsule collection with a black colorway of the BYW Boost, Botan-themed Y-3 Tangutsu slip-ons, Y-3 Bashyo high-tops, and an apparel line.
