The Nike women’s Space Hippie 04 ‘Photon Dust’ adds multicolor accents to a lifestyle sneaker partially made with ‘space junk’ — recycled materials that constitute 25% of the shoe’s composition by weight. The light tan FlyKnit upper, constructed from lightweight yarns made from post-industrial waste, features a stitched Nike Swoosh in a rainbow spectrum of colors. An extended pull tab at the heel is accented with embroidered Nike branding in the same colorful design. The sneaker is mounted on a speckled Crater Foam midsole, supported by a modified Waffle outsole that nods to Nike sports heritage.
