In 2018, adidas expanded the women’s lineup with this NMD_R1 ‘Burgundy’ edition that sports a unique color-blocked aesthetic. The design’s flexible mesh upper, laces, and Three-Stripes branding are dipped in dark red while mint green is used to highlight areas around the heel tab and EVA heel plug. Underfoot, the shoe’s white Boost midsole is complemented by a burgundy forefoot EVA plug with code-style text.
