As an evolution to cushioning systems of the 90s and 00s, adidas unveiled Boost technology in 2013. Partnering with chemical company BASF, the German brand developed an energy response cushioning platform. The adidas UltraBoost Clima 'White,' dropped in April 2018, with a Primeknit upper complete with breathable midfoot caging for ventilation and support. Underfoot, a full-length Boost sole promotes energy return and comfort while a Stretchweb outsole enhances traction and performance.
