Inspired by the shimmery, colorful scales of the Xenopeltis snake of Southeast Asia, the adidas Superstar 'Xeno' features a grey upper with XENO light-responsive technology that becomes iridescent when exposed to artificial light. The design also includes black Three-Stripes, a signature white rubberized toe cap and a herringbone traction pattern underfoot.
