Taking its cues from the military-inspired Nike Special Field boot, the Nike SF Air Force 1 High ‘Wheat’ features a shaft high enough to merit two removable ankle straps—one in black nylon with special branding, the other made from ballistic nylon in a seasonal Wheat brown. That color informs the entire sneaker, except for black ankle straps, heel tabs and branding on the tongue (which contains a secret pocket). The upper consists of full-grain leather on top of a rubber sole.
