Vans joined hands with illustrator Ralph Steadman to create a capsule collection with the goal of raising awareness for species in danger of extinction. Debuted in May 2019, the Ralph Steadman x OG Classic Slip-On LX 'Checkerboard Splatter' sneaker features a canvas upper printed with a gruesome illustration symbolic of the cause. In typical Vans Slip-On fashion, the low-profile sneaker is finished with a vulcanized sole and rubber tread.
