The Pharrell x adidas Hu NMD_S1 Ryat ‘Cardboard’ brings a rugged outdoor aesthetic to a casual silhouette built for everyday wear. Based on the NMD S1 runner and created through a series of 3D prototypes, the mid-top carries a mixed-material upper that combines tan leather, grey ballistic mesh, and beige hairy suede. Branding is limited to ‘Humanrace’ embroidered on the tongue in orange lettering. Semi-translucent TPU is utilized on the mudguard and midsole cage, the latter wrapped around full-length Boost cushioning and accented with brightly colored molded pieces inspired by signature NMD plugs. Underfoot, the black rubber outsole features a lugged traction pattern made up of raised adidas Trefoils.
