Inspired by the city of Tokyo, the adidas NMD_R1 ‘Dragon’ showcases a stealthy finish enlivened by unique branding elements. The upper is constructed from stretchy black knit textile with a tonal dragon graphic in lieu of traditional three-stripes. Scaly lines distinguish the grey Trefoil-branded tongue tag, while a pull tab in Pulse Yellow delivers a bright pop of color. The fluorescent hue is repeated on the smaller of the two EVA plugs embedded in the full-length Boost midsole, good for responsive cushioning with every step.
