Inspired by Japanese railway maps, the 'Japan' series honors the spirit of city exploration with two, special-edition NMD designs for February 2019. The adidas NMD_R1 'Japan' sneaker comes dressed heel to toe in Core Black, accenting its soft knit textile upper with tonal Three-Stripes branding and a patch overlay at the heel. The Boost midsole is embellished by a contrasting stripe that wraps around the heel with Japanese characters adorning the forefoot plug and medial side of the shoe.
