Originally launched in 2015, the modern adidas NMD_R1 takes inspiration from technical outerwear with references to archival brand models. This 'Grey Red' iteration reworks the knit upper with a Three-Stripes relief, tonal branding on the tongue and heel and a two-tone pull tab. Accented by a bold Shock Red EVA plug, the responsive Boost midsole flexes naturally thanks to a hexagonally cut rubber outsole.
