The adidas NMD_R1 ‘Core Black Red’ treats the lifestyle runner to a simplistic two-tone makeover. The sock-like upper is constructed from breathable black knit textile with fused three-stripes trimmed in scarlet. Matching red accents settle on the webbing pull tab and Trefoil-embossed tongue tag. Additional branding elements take the form of interchangeable patches that can be affixed to the Velcro heel overlay. Responsive cushioning comes courtesy of a full-length Boost midsole, painted black and stabilized with red and black EVA plugs that complete the classic NMD aesthetic.
