Releasing as part of the brand’s City Series, the adidas NMD_R1 V2 ‘Rio de Janeiro’ showcases a design inspired by the Brazilian flag. The upper, constructed from stretchy knit textile in a basic black finish, rides on a full-length color-blocked Boost midsole in yellow, royal blue and green. All three hues are repeated on the tongue tag and webbing heel tab, while the welded three-stripes are trimmed in yellow.
