Crafted in partnership with the French luxury fashion house, the Maison Margiela x Reebok Club C ‘Black'’ updates the retro trainer with the former’s trompe-l’oeil design from the 1996 Spring/Summer collection. The low-top makes use of an upper constructed from a single piece of flat leather, finished in black and printed with a scanned image of the original Club C shoe. The result is a unique 2D optical illusion effect, complemented by signature Margiela flourishes that include stitched detailing on the heel tab and three orderly rows of numbers on the woven tongue tag.
