The Kendrick Lamar x Cortez ‘Kenny 1’ marks the hip-hop artist's first collaboration with Nike. Inspired by his fourth album, the shoe features a white leather upper with ‘DAMN’ stitched in red on the lateral side panels. Other features include a red-stitched Swoosh on the medial side, a black nylon tongue with 'DAMN' branding, and red ‘Nike’ branding on the heel patch. The shoe debuted during Lamar's halftime show performance at the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship.
