For Black History Month 2016, Nike released a colorway that pays tribute to African cultures. The KD 8 'BHM' features a black Flyweave upper with Flywire technology for added structure and support. The sneaker also boasts a white speckled midsole and a multicolored, tribal-inspired Swoosh on the sidewall. The tribal color scheme also makes its way onto the laces and tongue branding, while ‘BHM’ lettering appears on the heel. A graphic on the insole reads ‘Power of One.’
