Junya Watanabe x Tokyo Design Studio x New Balance Niobium Concept 2 'Black'
Junya Watanabe MAN teams up with New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio on the Nobium Concept 2 ‘Black,’ which made its debut at the former brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 runway show in Paris. The black leather upper features a pair of adjustable midfoot straps with magnetic Fidlock closure. A wraparound heel strap marked with ‘JWCdGMAN’ branding can be removed, transforming the slip-on into a convenient mule. Lightweight cushioning arrives via New Balance’s Fresh Foam midsole, supported underfoot by a rugged Vibram outsole.
