Hikmet Sugoer designed the first-ever shoe collaboration between New Balance and sneaker blog Highsnobiety in September 2019. The Highsnobiety x 577 'Ulam Spiral' was inspired by the graphical image of prime numbers developed in 1963. To compose the upper, a mesh base is intercepted by suede and leather panels offering perforations a the toe. Pink is the primary color of the silhouette and is flanked by blue at the heel and grey on the toe, a nod to the Boston-brand's favorite hue.
