Launching in time for the running shoe’s 30th anniversary, the Hanon x Diadora N9000 ‘Alternative Route’ represents the follow-up to the duo’s ‘Saturday Special’ N9000 from 2014. Both take inspiration from intertwined ‘80s phenomena: the emergence of football culture and the growing influence of Italian sportswear in the UK. The sneaker is manufactured in Diadora’s Italian factory and features a premium build that blends mesh with nappa leather and pigskin suede. A palette of teal green, marine blue and fiery red gives the nod to Western European railway lines during the ‘80s.
