In a rich garnet red colorway with a supple leather Swoosh, the Dunk High Canvas delivers a refined look and durable construction. Nike designer Peter Moore created the original shoe in 1985, soon after making Michael Jordan's first signature sneaker, the Air Jordan 1. A number of AJ1 design elements can be seen in the Dunk High, including the toebox, lace tooling and traction. Ultimately, the Dunk became a household name after starring in the 'Be True to Your School' ad campaign.
