New Balance and Massachusetts-based streetwear retailer Concepts teamed up for this 990v2 silhouette inspired by the natural garment dye reserved for empires and kings in antiquity. The Concepts x 990v2 Made in USA 'Tyrian' is executed with a premium purple suede upper inspired by Tyrian Purple, an extremely expensive garment dye that was made by extracting a natural dye from sea snails. It also features Concepts-branded lace aglets, a tortoiseshell lace lock and reflective hits on the ‘N’ logo underlay and heel tab.
