Unveiled in July 2009, the Nike Air Trainer 2 Le is an homage to Bo Jackson's character in the classic Nintendo game, Tecmo Bowl. The sneaker's nubuck-based upper is designed with a textured heel, net quarter inserts and a patent leather forefoot strap. Metallic Swooshes sweep across the counter. A pixelated rendering of Jackson is embroidered on the tongue. Its Air-equipped midsole and rubber outsole are updated in Oakland Raiders colors.
