Launching as part of the ‘First Use’ collection, the Nike Air Max 97 SE ‘College Grey’ celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Nike Swoosh. A muted palette is applied to the upper, featuring a textile base with wavy overlays in leather and suede. The sneaker’s lateral side is accented with a black Swoosh outlined in red, while the opposite side features a hand-drawn Swoosh and printed text that reads ‘First use June 18, 1971.’ Additional branding elements include a leather Nike tongue tag and Swoosh-shaped lace jewels in metallic gold. Lightweight cushioning is provided by a Max Air unit that runs the length of the waffle-traction rubber outsole.
