Combining his passion for sports and design, designer Christian Tresser's crafted an industry-altering shoe that showcased the first full-length encapsulated Max Air unit. In order to celebrate Air Max Day in March 2019, Nike launched the Air Max 97 LX 'Throwback Future,' a more luxurious version of the 1997 original. This adaptation revamps the style with an iridescent, futuristic colorway.
