In tribute to the city of Boston, an Air Max classic returned for a special edition run in July 2007. Limited to 140 pairs, the Air Max 97 iD 'Boston' sneaker comes dressed in Boston Red Sox team colors, with alternating panels of Sports Red and White dressing its signature wave pattern.
