First released in 1990, the original Air Max 90 housed an even bigger visible Max Air unit than its predecessor. The beloved retro silhouette lives on in the Nike Air Max 90 Essential 'Raptors' sneaker in homage to the Toronto B-ball team as they approach the 2019 NBA finals. Rendered in white, Red Orbit, Psychic Purple and black, the shoe takes on a color-blocked look by alternating leather, mesh and synthetic materials.
