The Nike Air Max 90 Essential is considered one of the founding sneakers of the Air Max line. The Nike Air Max 90 Essential 'Midnight Navy' sneaker is a rework of the original framework in an attempt to minimize weight and offer better quality materials in the process. Suede is ditched for premium layers of leather on the Duromesh upper. Synthetic details have been dyed to match, with white logos providing the only contrast. A now-compressed Max Air unit and Waffle tread upgrade this remake.
