Architect-turned sneaker visionary, Tinker Hatfield, used the Paris Pompidou Centre as inspiration when creating the 1987 Air Max 1. Like the museum, the shoe exposes its interior with visible Max Air cushioning at the heel. This Essential 'Euro Release' was part of the 'Suede Pack' that was released in 2014. It features a Pro Green upper with a Sail sole for contrast. Gum rubber tread meets delivers a vintage feel.
