Made for big kids, the Air Jordan 2 Retro GS ‘Origins’ gets dressed in a color scheme that references the silhouette’s continental provenance. (The original 1986 launch paired premium materials with made-in-Italy craftsmanship.) Built with smooth white leather, the upper retains the lizard-textured overlay of the OG AJ2. The midfoot panel is surrounded by red and green piping, with the contrasting hues making repeat appearances on the shoe’s heel and interior lining. Branding elements include a Nike wordmark on the back tab and an embossed Wings logo on the tongue. Anchoring the sneaker is an off-white foam midsole with encapsulated Air-sole cushioning.
