The Nike Air Force 1 first debuted in 1982 as the first basketball sneaker to incorporate Air cushioning into its design. This colorway emerged in 2010, based on the re-vamped AF1 profile from 2007. The shoe retains its heritage look with a black leather upper in both tumbled and smooth paneling. The classic Air Force 1 sole construction is re-installed below, followed by a gum rubber outsole for a retro feel.
