To celebrate Chinese New Year in 2005, Nike introduced the special-edition Air Force 1 Premium 'Year Of The Rooster' sneaker. Its full-grain leather upper interprets the zodiac character's traditional symbol on the counter. Laser-cut branding updates the tongue label and backstay, with a strip of contrast nubuck on the heel. The Air-encapsulating cupsole is updated with a translucent gum rubber tread.
