The Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka ‘Tortoise Shell’ brings an unfinished DIY aesthetic to the vintage silhouette, inspired by the underground rave scene of St. Petersburg in post-Soviet Russia. The upper is composed of grey and orange suede paneling with a white leather forefoot overlay. A unique tortoise shell print lands on the Swoosh and heel tab, both accented with brown leather trim. Additional details include off-center stitching, misaligned overlays and doubled-up tongues. The sneaker rests on a revamped midsole with a cassette-like block of Nike React foam embedded in the lateral sidewall.
