The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 ‘Grey’ presents a neutral colorway of the vintage ‘80s hoops shoe. Designer Teddy Santis dresses the low-top in shaggy grey suede, complete with a padded textile collar and smooth leather paneling on the toe box. The refined one-note finish is disrupted by contrasting blue accents on the woven tongue tag. Additional branding elements include a cracked leather ‘N’ logo and mismatched ALD and NB emblems on the back heel. The sneaker rides on a cream-colored rubber cupsole, featuring an exposed EVA wedge on the medial side.
