The New Balance 997H ‘Varsity Gold’ offers a modern interpretation of a classic running shoe drawn from the brand’s iconic 99X series. A mustard yellow hue is applied to a mesh and suede upper, accented with white leather detailing on the heel tab and signature ‘N’ logo. A royal blue TPU heel clip provides rearfoot stability. Updated tooling takes the form of a lightweight ENCAP Reveal midsole, supported by a decoupled outsole made with grippy gum rubber.
