In 2008, New Balance launched ‘The Elements 576 Collection’ inspired by the foundation of the universe, according to Chinese Taoism. Three out of the five elements come to life in this exclusive release. The New Balance 576 'Wood Element’ features a tree theme with a medial side panel design and textured leather that resembles bark.
