The New Balance 1906L 'Blacktop Phantom' presents a hybrid silhouette that reimagines the 1906R as a classic penny loafer. Black open-cell mesh is utilized on the slip-on upper, featuring tonal nubuck overlays and a glossy TPU heel cage. The traditional running-shoe build is equipped with a bound low-cut collar and a leather saddle atop the vamp. The tooling gives the nod to the 860v2, highlighted by an ACTEVA LITE midsole with segmented SBS pods in the heel.
