Founded in 1997 by photographer Shoichi Aoki, FRUiTS was a pioneering street style publication, known for documenting fashion subcultures in Tokyo, especially in Harajuku. STREET launched as an offshoot of the original magazine, capturing personal style in other areas around the world. This issue, volume number 131 released in June 2002, chronicles fashion in Los Angeles and London, and at Paris Fashion Week.
