To pay tribute to the American flag, adidas debuted a special-edition two-shoe pack in June 2019. The UltraBoost 2.0 'Stars and Stripes' sneaker sports a foot-hugging Primeknit textile upper highlighted by the 2.0’s signature gradient pattern. The Three-Stripes lacing cage is punctuated by star-spangled accents. The Fitcounter heel and Torsion system balance the foot while it sits above a cushioned Boost midsole.
