Solebox x Saucony Shadow 5000 'Lucanid 2'
Inspired by the Lucanid, or stag beetle, the Solebox x Shadow 5000 'Lucanid 2’ was a 2014 100-pair collaboration from Berlin sneaker store Solebox. The focal point of the design is the grey horn-shaped panel on the toe box, modeled after the insect’s oversized mandibles, offering a contrast to the black suede, mesh and leather on the rest of the upper. Other features include a Solebox-branded leather footbed, a 3M reflective grey heel notch and bright green accents on the upper eyelets, tongue branding and lining.
