Unveiled in February 2014, designer Kazuki Kuraishi and adidas balance Japanese principles of minimalism with contemporary elements in the Cntr Weld 84-Lab 'Kazuki'. This 'Core Black' edition reinterprets traditional tenugui cloth into a polka-dot upper dressed in synthetic overlays. Cutout Three-Stripes and contrast Trefoil logos hallmark modern design. Underfoot, foam midsole cushioning is stacked atop a rubber outsole.
