Jordan Brand and Nike’s long-running series with Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, the Doernbecher Freestyle program, gives patients a chance to create their own sneakers. Former patient Colin Couch debuted his original design in 2008. As part of a reissue series to celebrate the program’s 10th anniversary, Couch’s creation was revived for the August 2013 Air Force 1 07 Le DB sneaker. The unique laser-cut etching along the upper gives this edition a dimensional look.
