In 2018, adidas expanded the women’s lineup with this NMD_R1 ‘Burgundy’ edition that sports a unique color-blocked aesthetic. The design’s flexible mesh upper, laces, and Three-Stripes branding are dipped in dark red while mint green is used to highlight areas around the heel tab and EVA heel plug.
