The Nike women’s Air Force 1 Fontanka ‘White Opti Yellow’ features a unique design inspired by the St. Petersburg rave scene of post-Soviet Russia. An unfinished DIY aesthetic distinguishes the white leather upper, featuring misaligned stitching and doubled-up eyestays and tongues. Tonal synthetic suede is utilized on the Swoosh and heel tab. The low-top is mounted on a matching white midsole, enhanced with a rectangular ‘cassette tape’ block of yellow Nike React foam. Underfoot, the AF1’s pivot point outsole replicates the look of two pieces cobbled together.
