Since 2005, adidas by Stella McCartney has balanced high performance with an environmental conscience, creating a range of athletic shoes using ethically sourced materials. For this colorful iteration of the Ultra Boost, the Primeknit upper is constructed out of yarn supplied by Parley for the Oceans. The environmental campaign also blends the yarn with recycled plastic, meaning more stable shoes, less polluted seas. A supportive outer cage and Boost cushioning on the sole add athletic credentials to the ethical qualities.
