In August 2019, Nike celebrated the 20th anniversary of Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants with a five-piece collection dedicated to the cartoon. This 'Sandy Cheeks' version of the Kyrie Low 2 mimics the character's iconic spacesuit in mesh with metallic Swooshes and a translucent midfoot cage. Graphic nods to the squirrel include her image on the insole, a flower accent and acorn on the heel. The Zoom Air midsole and rubber outsole represent her signature boots.
