Kevin Durant’s fifth signature Nike sneaker, the KD 5 marked a pivotal shift in design aesthetics when it debuted in 2012. The first silhouette in the series to be constructed without a foot strap, an exposed Max Air unit in the heel is reinforced with Zoom in the forefront and a Phylon midsole.
