The two-tone red and black design references Rui’s half-Japanese, half-Beninese background, while his Kanji-inspired personal logo adorns the tongue and sockliner. The shoe’s split coloring is repeated in gradient fashion on the signature Eclipse Plate, providing an open window to the springy Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot.
