Wanting to create an advanced high-performance shoe that put an emphasis on plush cushioning, Nike designer Dylan Raasch and its developers premiered the Roshe Two in 2017. After its initial launch, Nike created a sleeker version to add to the collection, the Roshe 2 'Metallic Silver' sneaker in April 2017.
