In October 2019, ASICS offered two takes on the Gel Kayano 5 360 re-engineered with Gore-Tex technology. This version assumes a waterproof ripstop and synthetic upper layered with suede panels in a Cool Mist hue. Bold branding is emblazoned on the medial side and additional logo hits are embroidered throughout. The contrast midsole cushioned by a tonal GEL system supplies shock-absorbency above a grippy rubber outsole.
